National Sevice Scheme (NSS)

Mr. Ranjan Timsina has been offering his services to the society since 2014 as the Programme Officer of the NSS Unit of Mayang Anchalik College. He guides the NSS volunteers in their service in the adopted village, nearby villages and in the College premises also. Every year, a Special Camp is organized apart from other regular social activities. In 2018, the NSS Unit of the College participated in the Swachh Bharat Summer Internship Programme following the call of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was much appreciated. Under his leadership, the volunteers take part in various district level and state level activities and earn praises.

Certificate of Appreciation

The Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of Assam has awarded a prestigious Certificate of Appreciation to Mr. Ranjan Timsina for taking initiatives to inspire the school students in pursuit of their Academic & extra-curricular activities under the Organic Linkage Scheme (Integration of colleges with the schools) for the session 2016-17 on 5th September, 2016 on 55th Teacher's day. He attended classes of Tenth Standard in Madhya Mayang High School and tried to inspire and encourage the students to be successful and to become good human being.
